Where can I hire a Yooner?
If you’re in our neck of the woods (Wanaka), you can hire Yooners directly through us here at our home at 2/b Bills Way, Wanaka. Great if you want to head up to Cardrona or Treble Cone who at this moment don’t have them in their rental department but we can be up yoonering. (But we’ll soon get them onboard!)
Our “at home price” is just $30 for the day. Great value considering one-size-fits-all so you can share a few around your family / group. What you’ll find is that a beginner new to the snow can be right up there yoonering equally as well as other ski and snowboard pros within a few runs, hence it’s a super group activity with people all on the “same playing field” so to speak.

- Pick-up the night before your day on the mountain. Return after your fun-filled day!
- Ensure you have some sturdy shoes / snow-board boots. (and helmet, gloves and goggles of course.)
What mountains are hiring the Yooner?
In 2019, Yooners can be hired at both Mt Hutt and The Remarkables and hopefully also Coronet Peak, Turoa and Whakapapa in 2019. So if they’re not there and you’re keen to get “yoonering”, go ask them to come onboard with this new ski sensation!
Or buy one from us and flag the waiting in line or need for taking it back on time! Yoonering is addictive as it’s immediately easy and fun, so having your own is the best idea!
